We are absolutely delighted to share the news that we have been awarded Gold for Wedding Venue of the Year in the South West Tourism Awards, which covers the entire region through Devon, Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly, Bath, Bristol, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. The awards included an amazing selection of finalists, who have all worked tirelessly to offer the best possible services to their guests in what has been a challenging period of time.
In the same way that hospitality businesses have had to change and innovate during this extraordinary period, so too have the awards and we enjoyed an excuse to get dressed up for the virtual awards ceremony, with our cocktail bar providing the perfect backdrop – with a bottle of champagne in easy reach when we received the results!
Robin Barker, Director of Services for Tourism Ltd, who manage the Awards, commented: ‘I feel honoured to have been involved in the awards over the past year and the last decade. Of all the years, this has been the one that has generated the most challenges as well as the most emotions, and we are so gratified to have played our part in giving our outstanding businesses something to celebrate. They are all so deserving! We can’t wait to get out and visit as many of them as possible.’
We have felt incredibly lucky to be able to create moments of sparkle for couples and their closest loved ones in what has been such a difficult time and cannot put into words how much we love hosting magical small weddings at Treseren, so to be awarded this accolade is such an honour.
Thank you to all of our wonderful couples, to those whose special days have come and to those who are still waiting to celebrate with us. We have to say a huge thank you for the brilliant support we have had from our partners in the wedding industry – one incredible thing that has come out of such adversity is that everybody has come together and supported each other, and we wish everybody the best of luck as the rest of the year unfolds.
It’s fabulous to be open again and to see all the wonderful creative small businesses that partner with us arriving back at Treseren. We have to say a huge thank you to everyone that helps make Treseren weddings magical, which as well as the wonderful Treseren team includes our extended family, from the florists who create amazing displays, to the hair and make up team, the cake creators, the stationery designers, to the chefs who create unforgettable fine dining experiences. We couldn’t create small weddings that are big on style without you, and we can’t wait for all of the Treseren weddings that are on the horizon!
