When we first discovered Treseren we both knew with immediacy that this was the ideal venue for our wedding. There’s something inherently precious and magical here, a warm feeling of fondness and familiarity, that resonated with us from when we first went for a viewing and stayed with us all the way through to the day we left, having held a wedding weekend that we will reflect on with joy for the rest of our lives.
We’re incredibly grateful to the amazing team at Treseren for all the hard work they put into making our wedding weekend an event of pure perfection. Izzy, in particular, was a complete delight to work with. During the planning stage she was always available, made so many great suggestions (that we always acted on), and generally is such a kind and knowledgeable person that left a hugely favourable impression on both of us. She’s even lovelier in person and had us feeling both so welcome and at-ease when we first arrived with nerves jangling!
The welcome dinner, and the breakfasts each morning, were fit for royalty and we didn’t regret canning our wed-shred efforts a day early for the privilege of stuffing our faces with such excellent food before the ceremony. The grounds and the house were immaculate and so well looked-after; you can tell the team here truly care about where they work and are proud of what they do. The wedding day went by faultlessly, with everything running on time and to plan; from our magical ceremony in front of the walnut tree to cutting the cake towards the end of the night.
Our only regret is that we can’t live the day over and over again, however we will forever hold the happiest of memories. We simply feel so fortunate to have found Treseren and so privileged to have had our every expectation exceeded.
We couldn’t recommend Treseren highly enough.

We had our October autumn wedding this weekend at Treseren and we are still floating on cloud nine.
It was the most perfect day and weekend. Emma and Izzy are amazing and went over and above to help make our day perfect. The entire process from planning to the big day was so easy, thanks to the team. The house is gorgeous and the area is perfect for a wedding any time of the year. We were looked after so well all weekend. Don’t ever change a thing because what you do is perfect. We felt like they really cared and it was in no way just a wedding venue. I can’t recommend Treseren enough. The perfect start to our married life

Like everyone planning a wedding during lockdown, we had a number of unforeseen obstacles to overcome but Emma, Paul & Izzy were absolutely amazing from the moment we got in touch, to the moment we left as a married couple! Everyone at Treseren was just so diligent, committed, compassionate & caring & we were blown away with the attention to detail in every aspect, albeit throughout the most challenging 2 years imaginable.
Emma & Izzy made everything feel so much easier & simpler – they were always there to help us whenever & with whatever & we honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. They put our minds at ease every time we spoke to them & they went above & beyond with absolutely everything. They provided such a warm & friendly welcome when we arrived, up until when we had to leave!
We never got to visit Treseren before our wedding weekend but we knew how stunning it was going to be after seeing all of the amazing photos & videos online, but once we arrived we were genuinely blown away by the grandeur of every room & by all of the incredible details throughout the house. The rooms were all magnificent, we could not believe how large & exquisite each one was! The gardens were just stunning & so relaxing too.
We had the most fantastic & wonderful time & we cannot thank the whole team enough. Treseren surpassed everything we had hoped for for our wedding & we will be forever grateful that we were lucky enough to get married at their stunning venue! x

The most amazing venue, host and magical wedding day.
Sam and I got married at Treseren in October in the company of 20 family and friends. We are so grateful to Emma, Paul and the rest of the Treseren team for making our special day (and wedding weekend) so memorable.
We visited Treseren back in February and as soon as we arrived at Shepherds House and were welcomed by Emma with her warmth and amazing homemade chocolate Brownies we knew we had found the perfect place to get married.
Everything about Shepherd’s house is absolutely beautiful and Emma is the most outstanding host. From the very start, Emma completely got our vision and did everything within her gift to help us find suppliers, accommodate our family, kept us calm on the day, planned an extensive and innovative wedding feast and catered exceptional breakfasts.
Words cannot describe how lucky we are to have found Treseren and Emma (as well as her team) who made our wedding celebrations so special.
We couldn’t have asked for more!

We chose Treseren to celebrate our small intimate wedding with our family of 15 and of course the dogs. Emma, Paul and the whole team made our special day BEAUTIFUL. An amazing venue with a team that truly cared about all the little details that made our big day and stay a memorable experience. Our wedding day was absolutely what we desired and our dream came true with the help of the team at Treseren. The venue is beautiful, peaceful, spacious and comforting. The team made us feel at home, and were happy to help with anything during our entire stay. We are so in love with the venue and our memory of it that we’re looking for another excuse to celebrate. We feel lucky to have found such a brilliant place.

Five stars is simply not enough to rate the wonderful experience we had at Treseren. We had a small intimate wedding with our daughters, their partners and our two grandchildren.
Emma and Paul, and their son Max made the whole experience so very special. From making sure that even the home-made granola at breakfast was gluten-free to ensure that one of daughters, who is a coeliac, did not feel she was ‘the odd one out’, taking the photos, doing the music for the ceremony, to helping Jake and Lucy, our grandchildren, pick flowers from the garden and arrange them for decoration.
Thank you too, to Zoe and Charlie, Emma’s lovely kitchen assistants, who helped make our welcome evening meal and breakfasts so amazing.
Treseren is truly a magical place to get married.
