We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded Gold for Wedding Venue of the Year in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for the second year running! 2021 was our busiest year to date, so to be recognised for our consistency in delivering magical small weddings is a huge honour and a testament to the hard work and passion shown by every single member of the Treseren team.
The addition of Loveday’s Bar and the large covered terrace have both been a huge success, and we’ve loved seeing these new spaces in action, with couples embracing these new elements and the possibilities they offer.
This is the 20th year of the awards, which focuses on excellence, innovation and resilience. Awards organizer Robin Barker of Services for Tourism said: “In another extraordinary year for tourism, with many unexpected challenges, I have been inspired to witness the positivity, creativity and innovation shown by Cornwall’s tourism industry. Many congratulations to you all.”
We would like to congratulate all of the finalists and winners in the awards, who really illustrate just what a special place Cornwall is, with such a range of wonderfully talented and passionate businesses, from exceptional restaurants to heritage museums and luxury spas.
It was particularly wonderful to be able to share this win with members of the Treseren team who have all played an integral part in the success and growth of Treseren – so to raise a glass of champagne together in Loveday’s Bar felt very special and well deserved!
We feel so terribly honoured to be involved in the most special day of people’s lives, creating beautiful small weddings is an absolute joy. There is an unmatchable atmosphere in the air on a wedding day and sharing in that happiness is something that we will never tire of.
We cannot wait to host many more weddings in 2022!
