In October 2017, we had our own get together to celebrate my lovely mum’s 70th birthday, so we are able to share our real celebration. Joining us from London and the Midlands, our extended family were able to stay and enjoy some Cornish air and hospitality.

As it was October, an autumnal theme set the scene. The table was strewn with autumn treasures foraged from the gardens, twinkling pin lights and candles, with a heavenly chocolate cake centre stage.

Child friendly venue with lots of space for the kids to run free
Cousins, Jack and Georgia had great fun – with games of hide and seek in the gardens and back in to the house. Luckily, the cake managed to stay upright!

Beautiful Beaches on the doorstep
Perfect for walks – during my mum’s birthday weekend celebration, we headed to Crantock Bay just 10 minutes from Treseren for a stroll across the beach. The children absolutely love running down the big dunes at this beautiful beach. The beach is owned by The National Trust, so if you are members you can park for free – a real rarity in Cornwall!
