It’s awards season in the wedding world and team Treseren were excited to venture out of Cornwall this week for the south west award ceremony for The Wedding Industry Awards at Aldwick Estate in Bristol.
With 27 categories and 11 regions covering the whole of the UK, TWIA are highly regarded as being the only Regional and National client-voted, expert-judged Awards in the UK wedding industry. So, we are immensely proud that Treseren has been awarded South West Historic Wedding Venue of The Year for the second year running!
There is a rigorous voting process to becoming a finalist, and we must send a huge thank you to all of our lovely couples from this year that took the time to do this for us – it means a great deal that the relationship we build during your wedding journey continues long after we have waved you down the driveway to start your married lives together.
Once shortlisted as finalists, the next stage is to be judged by a team of industry experts who make the final decision based on our couples votes and our in-depth entry application. Owing to this carefully monitored process, the competition is inevitably high, and we were one of 8 finalists, so we were all very nervous waiting to hear the results!

Emma, Izzy, Ange and Zoe were delighted to accept the award from the awards host, Damian Bailey and a glass (or two!) of celebratory fizz was the perfect end to the evening. After a year of magical small wedding celebrations, it feels really special to be able to take some time away from Treseren to reflect on what we have achieved. We are so lucky to have an amazing team and are very proud to have been recognised for everyone’s hard work and dedication.
A big congratulations to all of the other finalists and winners – it was wonderful to see some amazing fellow Cornish wedding suppliers. We must give a special mention to Cassie at Cornwall Caricatures who was the very deserving winner of the ‘Special Touch’ category. We always love welcoming Cassie to Treseren – being able to send every wedding guest home with a personalised caricature is just one of the many advantages of choosing a small wedding!
