Spring Clean for the new season

As our first guests of the season arrived this month, the big annual spring clean took place with our fabulous cleaning team; Sarah, Lynn and Marie aided by Luke from Pro-shine windows, our lovely painter Mark, my dad – gardener and fabulous all round handy man, Gary and Paul and Emma running around helping and doing wherever we could! Windows were shined, paintwork refreshed, beds pulled out and picture rails and skirting boards dusted. Treseren is most definitely ready for the holiday guests and wedding parties that are booked to visit our Cornish retreat this year!

Our Cornish Welcome

The finishing touches that we have in place for our arriving guests vary from season to season and are inspired by the incredible local produce that makes Cornwall so special. We work with The Great Cornish Food Store to source scrumptious Cornish produce made by local suppliers, from delicious marinated olives to seasonal preserves and freshly baked bread. We believe a brilliant holiday or a welcome for your intimate wedding is deserving of a home made cake or cream tea, true Cornish style (jam first please!) – and my scone recipe has been tried and tested over the years!

Local Aromatherapy Products for our guests to enjoy

We also work with local aromatherapist, Mary who hand blends the beautiful products that make up the Mary’s Shed range – in her Cornish shed! From the subtly fragranced and uplifting lemon and black pepper hand wash, to the gorgeous nourishing hand cream, the entire range is our absolute favourite when it comes to essential toiletries. That’s why we provide Mary’s shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for your stay at Treseren – so no need to pack endless toiletries!

Beautiful flowers from our English country garden

And the finishing touches that make our welcome, are hand picked flowers gathered from the gardens at Treseren. You can’t get more local than that and at this time of year the bluebells and camellias are in full bloom!

We love welcoming both returning and new guests to Treseren, and so enjoy adding the finishing touches that we hope make our guests feel at home – from Cornish produce to beautiful country garden flowers. If you would like to visit our special corner of Cornwall – whether for a holiday with loved ones or for an intimate wedding or celebration, then we cannot wait to welcome you!
