Wow, we can’t quite believe that 2026 is on the horizon and that we have hosted another year of magical small weddings at Treseren! We enjoyed a fabulous Christmas get together as a team and had a great time looking back at a wonderful year (champagne in hand, of course). It was wonderful to remember all of the special moments that we have been lucky enough to witness in 2025 (literally, in the case of elopement weddings!), so we wanted to share some of those memories with you!
Every wedding at Treseren is so very special to us, but as we can’t talk you through each and every one (although we would love to), we asked the Treseren wedding coordinator team to share just some of their standout moments from the 2025 Treseren wedding season.

Hannah and Paul | Saturday 6th September 2025
I absolutely loved coordinating Hannah and Paul’s 2025 wedding – they got married under the walnut tree on a beautiful September day. From the moment I met them with their family including their gorgeous dog Sully, I knew it was going to be a fabulous and fun wedding! Hannah and her lovely friends were the epitome of a bride tribe and the getting ready atmosphere was so much fun with hair and make-up, singing, dancing and drinks. They each signed the bottom of her shoes which was such a special touch and something I hadn’t seen before!
Their ceremony under the walnut tree was perfect with Sully delivering the rings much to everyone’s delight – he didn’t quite make it ‘down’ the aisle but nevertheless provided much entertainment!
Their outdoor dining tablescape looked beautiful with a vibrant colour palette and Hannah’s handsewn napkins were the star of the show – a great example of the kind of personalisation that is possible with a small wedding.
As well as coordinating fabulous weddings at Treseren, I am also a qualified yoga teacher and I was privileged to be asked to teach a yoga class for the couple and their guests on the Sunday morning following the wedding. With the weather not on our side, we got cosy in the Drawing Room and had a ball – definitely the most fun yoga class I have taught! This was such a great way to unwind after all the excitement of the day before –of course, some people were slightly more bright-eyed than others! I would absolutely love to teach more post-wedding yoga at Treseren.
‘The most beautiful wedding venue with everything you could possibly think of. We fell in love with Treseren from our first visit and our wedding planner, Charlie, was an absolute dream to work with. Nothing was too silly to ask and everything that I wanted to do was made to sound so simple. The whole weekend was so amazing, mostly due to the love and care that the entire team put into your stay. I didn’t have to lift a finger or worry about anything the entire weekend – I wish we could get married at Treseren every weekend!’ – Hannah and Paul

Kelly and Helen | Saturday 5th April 2025
Kelly and Helen’s wedding was one of our first outdoor weddings of the year in early April – it was originally meant to take place in August but Kelly’s mum had become very unwell and the couple contacted us in January to see if the wedding date could be brought forward. It was all hands-on deck to make this happen and of course our extended supplier family were all on board and worked their magic.
I will never forget the buzz of excitement on Kelly and Helen’s wedding morning – well actually from the moment the couple and their guests arrived the day before the wedding day! It was an all-female wedding party that stayed overnight at Treseren and the girls night out / slumber party atmosphere was contagious – I didn’t want to go home!! Kelly and Helen’s daughters became my right-hand women and together we made sure there were no accidental meetings before that magical moment at the bottom of the stairs when they saw each other for the first time ahead of the ceremony. They chose to walk down the aisle together, which was really special.
The love in the house during their entire wedding stay was just electric – this was very much a ‘pinch me that this is my job’ wedding day!
There was a little anxiety around the change of season – (would April deliver?!), so I was so delighted when the day came and the weather was on our side – Kelly and Helen were able to have a beautiful ceremony under the Walnut Tree and enjoy the gardens as they had always planned.
‘What can I say this place and the people behind the scenes are absolutely amazing they could not do enough for you. Many of our guests commented that our wedding was the best they had ever been to. We cannot thank you enough for the wedding of our dreams! You gave us all memories that will last a lifetime. We will be forever grateful to you for moving our wedding date so my mum could be a part of it. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.’ – Kelly and Helen

Morgane and Anthony | Saturday 20th September 2025
From the moment we were contacted by Morgane and Anthony about the possibility of holding their wedding at Treseren, I had a feeling it was going to be a magical Treseren experience. Although living in London, Morgane and Anthony are French and had the idea to bring their families and friends from France for a destination wedding in the UK. Having hosted many weddings with couples and guests travelling from overseas, we know Treseren is a perfect place to connect and relax, with our long wedding weekend creating a mini holiday wrapped around the wedding in beautiful Cornwall.
An all-French guest list was a first for us, and we wanted to rise to the occasion to ensure a wonderful weekend. We work closely with Cornwall Registration office, and I knew one of their brilliant Registrars, Laura is a linguist and had lived in France for many years, so from the get-go, we helped Morgane and Anthony liaise with the Registration Office to create a legal ceremony conducted mainly in French, with some key legal phrases in English.
We worked together closely on arrival timings, with guests flying into different airports at different times, so our evening hosting team Sarah and Natasha stayed late to accommodate everyone for our arrival welcome feast. As a team, we started brushing up on our French and newest Treseren team member, Abi who is studying French, took on the job of translating our breakfast menu, cocktail menu and in-room welcome information into French so that all the wedding party could feel welcomed and relaxed. This was our surprise to Morgane and Anthony and was really appreciated, because some of the young children and older relatives in the party did not speak any English at all. Of course, Morgane and Anthony and some of their relatives and friends were fluent English speakers, so there was a lovely mix of those helping others, chatter in French, English and lots of translation. The atmosphere with everyone communicating, smiling and laughing together was wonderful.
The wedding ceremony, beautifully conducted by Laura in French was incredibly emotional, with laughter and happy tears, and one of the biggest cheers I have ever heard in our wedding room when they were pronounced married or, in this case, en français: prononcé marié.
The celebration continued with all the wonderful elements Morgane and Anthony had planned with us, including weaving in some very British and Cornish traditions, such as our afternoon tea with homemade scones and jam, and lashings of Cornish clotted cream served on Treseren’s vintage china. There was a great atmosphere with live music to accompany, and when the sun came out finally, fun with garden games. I loved seeing everyone having fun embracing the Treseren Bridgerton vibes, enjoying croquet on the front lawn.
“We had the most magical wedding at Treseren! As a French couple with all our guests traveling from France, we were a little nervous about the logistics, but the Treseren team made it so easy. They went above and beyond to help us and make sure our families felt comfortable and included at every step of the way. Our wedding weekend was filled with joy, laughter, happy tears, and, most of all, love and we couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place or a more supportive team to make it all happen. Merci beaucoup to everyone at Treseren for giving us the wedding of our dreams! Treseren will always have a special place in our hearts’ – Morgane and Anthony
Sending lots of love from Team Treseren to all of the lovely couples and their guests that have celebrated with us this year, we will feel forever lucky to have played a part in your love story. And to those that will be celebrating with us in 2026 – we can’t wait to welcome you!
