We are delighted to share the news that Treseren won Historic Building Wedding Venue of the Year at The National Wedding Industry Awards in London this week.
As a micro venue in Cornwall, to be considered alongside 7 amazing venues across the country was a huge achievement to us, and we were already feeling very proud to be the regional winner, so we are absolutely thrilled (and a little overwhelmed) to have been announced as the national winners at this prestigious event.
Emma and Izzy took the train up to London for the glamourous awards evening at The Underglobe and enjoyed a night of celebrations complete with live music from previous wedding band of the year winners Apollo Soul and amazing acrobats and aerialists. The night was made even more special as we were able to share in the excitement with our fellow Cornish finalists, Flicksbox. We love working with Phil and Andy, and their micro-photobooth Tilley has been a highlight at so many Treseren weddings, so we were delighted for them to be recognised for their hard work and dedication.
Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners, we were honoured to be in such esteemed wedding industry company!
After the evening’s excitement, we did enjoy a breakfast of champions with the award taking centre stage at the breakfast table, before we embarked on the journey back home to Cornwall!
We are so thankful for this recognition of Treseren and our amazing team, who work so hard to create magical wedding experiences for each and every one of our couples. The judging was decided by a panel of wedding industry experts, but we got to the final judging stages with thanks to our amazing couples who took the time to vote for us and share their Treseren story. We cannot thank them enough for firstly trusting us with their most special of days, and then becoming a part of Treseren history.
