Your Wedding Day
Your elopement wedding day at Treseren begins with a delicious breakfast, created with seasonal, locally sourced Cornish produce. From our homemade granola to our fluffy blueberry pancakes and perfectly poached eggs, it’s the best way to start the day. Following breakfast, you can savour every moment of your elopement wedding morning as you begin wedding preparations, getting ready in our beautiful bedrooms while the Treseren team ensure everything is ready for your ceremony.
Your Elopement Wedding Ceremony
As a fully licensed wedding venue, you can choose which spot in the house or gardens that you would like to say ‘I Do’. The Drawing Room at Treseren creates a wonderful setting for elopement ceremonies. With its elegant Georgian arch, soaring bay window with original Georgian shutters, period fireplace and Bechstein piano, it is a beautiful space. In the cooler months, we place candles around the fireplace to create a special atmosphere.
The light and spacious Wedding Room also works beautifully for a ceremony for two, with the French doors framed with florals, leading out to the green of the gardens beyond. On warmer days, the doors can be left open, whilst twinkling candlelight sets the scene perfectly in the winter months.
If you would prefer to get married outside, then you can choose a beautiful spot in the grounds. The sprawling outdoor spaces provide plenty of opportunity for beautiful photographs, with winding pathways, ivy clad archways and ever-changing flora and fauna. Our 200 year old Walnut Tree is a beautiful natural ceremony location.
We also host magical family elopements so that your children can celebrate your special day with you, or you may choose to invite two close friends to share in your love story.
