After the excitement of venue hunting, we know that the prospect of planning a wedding can often be a little daunting. At Treseren, we have years of experience in planning and hosting magical small weddings, so we work closely with you during this special time.
The First Steps
During your wedding venue search, we encourage you to research all of the options available to you. If you can visit us in person then we are delighted to show you around, but we can also show you the venue online via our virtual tour, which is a great way of getting to know both the physical space and us, and to envisage your wedding at Treseren.
Weddings at Treseren always include a two or three night stay and there are many wonderful nearby accommodation options to extend your stay in Cornwall, which makes us a perfect destination venue if you are travelling from further afield. Many Treseren couples have never visited us in person until they arrive the day before their wedding, but we build a strong connection through our planning journey and it’s always very exciting when we finally meet.
We will also share our Little Black Book with you, which gives a guide to the amazing local suppliers that we work with, who like us specialise in magical small weddings that are big on style.
What Happens Next
If you choose to book Treseren as your wedding venue, we will share all of our resources and guidance with you to ensure that you have the best planning experience and ultimately an amazing wedding. We will create your very own wedding ‘portal’, which is an online platform where we can share all of the details of your wedding and decide on the finer details like seating plans and drinks choices.
Alongside our ‘Wedding Planning Guide’ which includes a step-by-step breakdown of everything you need to consider and is full of inspiration, you also have a dedicated wedding planner who will discuss all of the options with you and contact your chosen suppliers to put your team together.
You have access to unlimited video calls, phone calls and emails during your planning journey – You can never ask us too many questions, we encourage you to make the most of our expertise! Of course, if you wish to visit us for a planning meeting then we are always delighted to see you. We appreciate that wedding planning has to fit around everyday life, so we are here to make the journey as stress free as possible.
Your wedding planner will work with you to put the timeline for your day together and liaise with all of your suppliers to confirm plans. Our years of experience mean we know what works and what doesn’t, from knowing the best time to head to the beach in all seasons, to advising on how many bottles of champagne to order. We are not spread across any other venues; our expertise is solely focused on what works best in the magical setting of Treseren. We will even book your guests taxis if needed!

On the Day
Your wedding planner will be here to greet you when you arrive the day before your wedding to run through all of the details and to calm any last minute nerves! On the day, they will be the point of contact for all suppliers and guests, from making sure the cake is delivered to ensuring the rings end up in the right hands!
They will lead our in house team to set up your ceremony space and any additional décor, making sure everything is perfectly in place and exactly as you have chosen. They will be there whenever you need them, from being on hand with tissues during speeches, to pressing play on the ceremony music and making sure everybody has a drink in their hand. At Treseren, people are at the heart of what we do. We offer five-star hospitality with a home-from-home atmosphere. Much more than just ‘on the day coordination’ making sure things run by the clock, you have a dedicated team that really anticipate and look after you and your guests, allowing you to relax, have fun and enjoy the best day of your lives with your very favourite people.
